| An American Hepplewhite mahogany dining table with drop leaves, circa 1870. As you can see, the table surfaces are highly grained mahogany, as are the apron fronts. All the tapering Hepplewhite legs are inlaid with bellflowers, teardrops and string style inlays ending in inlaid cuffs. The apron also has diamond style inlays along the lower edge and Patera inlays above each leg. The table edge also has light wood inlays running around the edge. The overall condition is excellent, the table just has been cleaned and polished. Each section measures 46" wide by 28" deep with a 22" leaf attached to each section. When the table is together the total length is 100" long by 46" wide by 30" high. The price is $6,800 retail.
